OPERA ON THE INTERNET
WITH
DAVE D’AGUANNO

If you happen to be in the mood for some Mozart, you're in luck, with 2 internet radio broadcasts of 2 of his best-loved operas being scheduled in the coming days. On Friday (September 27), you can listen to a LIVE broadcast from Rome of "Don Giovanni" as transmitted on Radio 3 (RAI), while the "other" Radio 3 (BBC) will be bringing us a July 2019 performance of "The Marriage of Figaro" on Saturday, as heard at the Royal Opera House in London.

In addition to the Friday performance of "Don Giovanni," RAI will also be broadcasting on Saturday, offering a June 12, 2019 performance from Turin of Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana."

From Vienna, ORF (Austria) will be airing a LIVE broadcast of Dvorak's "Rusalka."

At the same time, Swedish Radio has scheduled a LIVE broadcast from Umea of Humperdinck's "Hansel & Gretel."

Enjoy!
