Moving into the 20th century, Stravinsky's "The Rake's Progress" can be heard on German Radio in a May 27, 2019 performance from Dresden.

The big news, however, for the many fans of the operas of Rossini? The main 3 operas from this year's Rossini Festival in Pesaro are being broadcast on Radio 3 (RAI), all LIVE, with one of his major operas ("Semiramide") kicking things off on Sunday (August 11). Then on Monday, it's a rare opportunity to hear his very first opera ("Demetrio & Polibio") followed by another early work on Tuesday: "L'Equivoco Stravagante" (from 1811).
