OPERA ON THE INTERNET
WITH
 DAVE D' AGUANNO

On Saturday afternoon (January 20), many internet radio stations will be carrying a pre-recorded broadcast from the Met of Massenet's "Thais."

Bel canto enthusiasts, on the other hand, may prefer to tune in to Swedish Radio for a performance of Donizetti's "Maria Stuarda" which took place in Rome on March 22 of last year.

For those of you who simply can't get enough of Puccini's "La Boheme" you can access Radio 3 (RAI) on Friday (Jan. 19) for a LIVE performance of the work from Bologna.

And for those of you who can't get enough of Wagner's Ring Cycle, you'll probably want to watch the LIVE video-stream on Monday (Jan. 22) of "Die Walkure." Soprano Nina Stemme takes on the role of Brunnhilde in this performance, coming to us direct from the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.

Later on the same day, the Met will be presenting a FREE live audio-stream of Verdi's "Il Trovatore" beginning at 7:25 p.m.

Enjoy!
