LIVE broadcast from Bologna of Richard Strauss's "Salome" is among a
few of the performances that are being scheduled in the days ahead. This
Strauss opera can be heard on Radio 3 (RAI).
Then on
Saturday (Feb. 16), the Met's LIVE matinee broadcast will be Mozart's "Don
Giovanni" with bass Ildar Abdrazakov singing the role of Leporello this
time around.
BBC Radio 3
has a LIVE performance on its schedule of "Beatrice & Benedict"
by Hector Berlioz. This opera (based on Shakespeare's "Much Ado About
Nothing") comes to us from Manchester.
